A As part of the EARN Project’s stakeholder engagement and institutional coordination strategy, Md. Saiful Islam Sumon, Upazila Manager, Noakhali Sadar, Noakhali, representing WAVE Foundation, met with Mr. Sazzad Hayder Bhuiya, Deputy Director, DYD, Noakhali, on 11 October 2026 at 03:00 PM. The meeting aimed to brief the district level activities on the EARN Project and seek its support in facilitating effective coordination, stakeholder engagement, and successful implementation of project activities across the district.
During the meeting, Md. Saiful Islam Sumon presented a summary of the EARN Project, outlining its objectives, implementation approach, target beneficiaries, and anticipated contributions to skills development and economic opportunities for eligible young people who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET). He also handed over the project summary and official letters circulated by the Department of Youth Development and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Government of Bangladesh, to provide formal information on the project’s mandate and implementation arrangements.
The meeting represented an important step in engaging the district administration and establishing an institutional coordination link for project implementation. Continued communication and appropriate administrative support are expected to facilitate collaboration with relevant government departments and local stakeholders, helping address implementation related coordination needs and strengthen the project’s outreach to eligible youth.
